FAQ

For our A1–B1 courses, placement tests are optional. If you are not sure which course best matches your level of German, you are welcome to take a free placement test. Simply book an appointment on our website. From level B2 onwards, a placement test is mandatory unless you already have a current, official B1 certificate. Our placement tests take place on site in Zurich and usually last between 30 and 40 minutes.

No, the course books must be paid for separately. The books cost an additional CHF 60 (A1 books) or CHF 65 (A2, B1, B2, C1 books).

Yes, of course! New customers are welcome to arrange a free trial lesson with us (email to [email protected]at least 24 hours in advance) to get an impression of our course concept.

The easiest way to pay is by bank transfer. You will receive the invoice for your course by email a few days before the course starts. You can also pay on site. Semi-intensive courses can be paid in two installments of CHF 310, and Saturday courses in four installments of CHF 170. Semi-Intensivkurse können in zwei Raten à CHF 310 bezahlt werden, Samstagskurse in vier Raten à CHF 170.

Yes. Our intensive courses start with a minimum of 6 participants, and our semi-intensive and Saturday courses with a minimum of 7 participants. To ensure a good learning atmosphere, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 14.

Unfortunately, this is not possible for organizational reasons. Lessons are not recorded. However, your teacher will be happy to inform you about what you missed upon request. If you submit a medical certificate, you will receive a voucher for the missed days.

If you interrupt the course for private or professional reasons (holidays, business trips, etc.), we are happy to issue a voucher, provided that the interruption is reported in writing to the office at least 5 days in advance and does not exceed 1 week (intensive), 2 weeks (semi-intensive), or 3 weeks (Saturday). Please note: if this is your first course at our school, no vouchers can be issued for course interruptions.

In principle, no. However, exceptions are possible, and we are happy to review your case individually. If you have to stop the course for health reasons, we will credit the corresponding amount upon presentation of a medical certificate.

Cancellation is free of charge up to 5 days before the course starts and must be made in writing by email. Detailed cancellation conditions can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
